child learn about kindness, consider having some conversations
about this weeks virtue; around a meal, as you travel to camp or other
locations, in the morning, or just before they go to bed.
Here's some
thoughts on what to talk about:

Questions for Kids:

Can you think of two different ways that someone has been kind to you?

How has God been kind to you?

How can you know how Jesus would treat someone?

Why should you be kind to someone who isn't kind?

Does being kind come naturally or do you need to practice it?

Questions for
Parents:

How does being kind change others?

How does being kind change a situation that you are in?

Talk about a time that it was hard to be kind.

What is a kind thing you can do for your neighbor today?

You were missed!

While you were gone, we talked about Faith (believing in what you can't see because of what you can see), heard the story of Abraham leaving his home land, and learned Hebrews 11:1.
We also had two interesting adventures at Dolphin's Cove (yep, K-5 went on Monday and Friday). On Monday, there was an accident and Scott wound up with six stitches in his head thanks to Sean Atwater's front teeth. Both Scott and Sean are doing well and didn't miss any time at camp.
Friday, when we tried to leave Dolphin's Cove, the bus wouldn't start and we wound up coming home about 35 minutes late.

Good times. I hope you all enjoyed the conference and are eager to share Christ's love with the children.
